This piece was created as a wedding gift for two of Geoffrey's close friends. The two figures, reaching out and holding hands, represent a timeless connection; a first introduction, a father walking his daughter down the aisle, a groom taking his bride's hand at the altar, a gentleman inviting a lady to dance… etc. The variation in blending indicates levels of subtlety and sensitivity (smooth transition from orange to yellow, more abrupt transition from dark to light blue). The colors represent contrasting moods, and yet even with all these differences, the two figures somehow become one. True-love is an amazing phenomenon. This piece is dedicated to Kelli and Alex. Thank you for all your support.
