This picture, which includes the artist, was taken in Haven Art on the night the mural was completed. The artist is almost 6 feet tall, and his height provides perspective with respect to the large size of this piece. Though it does not appear clearly in photographs, the light background of the canvas was applied using painting knives and has a texture like cake-frosting. The use of grey in certain locations (upper center, lower corners) aids in providing depth to the image. This feature is also difficult to discern in this photo. A professional image, and large reproductions, may become available. |
